Born in Morelia Michoacan Mexico; Ethos immigrated to Los Angeles were he made a name for himself by showing commitment and always executing performance with the ethical integrity a true Hip Hop Dj should always have on stage.  All this clearly rooted from his early influences of the 90’s “Golden Era”

  After making local noise with his crew Semiotics and Manteca early in the decade; In 2004 he came into the light as the dynamic MC / DJ duo Jroz and Ethos. Both setting a standard in the Los Angeles underground Hip Hop scene. This opened up more doors thus giving him the opportunity to link up with one of Mexico’s most influential and respected emcees by the name of Bocafloja. This making Ethos a respectable Dj in the Republic’s Turntable movement and a member of Quilombo Arte en Resistencia.  Before that honor he also joined the world wide known Project Blowed,  one of the most ground braking and enovative crew of our time.  Since then, Ethos has worked and shared the stage with many different artist from across the continent and the world like the talented Malena (Argentina), Rango Bajo, Caporal(Mexico), Intifada, Tek 1 (Puerto Rico), Rebel Diaz(NY,Chicago, Chile), Anita Tijoux (Chile), Gabriel Teodros (Seattle/ Ethiopia) Y.G.(Russia), Maya Jupiter (Australia), Immortal Technique, Jeru the Damaja, Afu-Ra, Beatnuts, M1 dead prez(NY),  Freestyle Fellowship, OMD, Aceyalone(LA). Dj Ethos also backs up the Blast Master Krs One, Chloroform Days(LA) Acid Reign (project blowed), Afterdark (Inland Empire), Gajah(LA)  and many more.
